Building Stronger Neighborhoods
Free Public Lecture on Incremental Development – Sept. 4
Panama City, FL – The Panama City Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), with support from Ward 2 City Commissioner Janice Lucas, is inviting residents to a free public lecture on Introduction to Incremental Development. The event will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Barbara Nelson Fine Arts Center (1200 Harrison Ave). Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and the lecture will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
The evening will feature a presentation and Q&A session with Tiffany Elder of Paradigm Properties, offering insight into the Small-Scale Development Movement.
This initiative is focused on rebuilding and revitalizing neighborhoods in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael through small-scale, community-centered development. Incremental development strategies — such as renovating main street buildings or constructing duplexes — can help empower residents and local developers to create sustainable, people-first communities.
This lecture is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
