PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Bayway is providing free transportation to and from Deane Bozeman School’s storm shelter as Bay County prepares for Hurricane Isaias.
Transportation will remain available while the shelter is active and travel conditions are safe. Bayway is coordinating with Bay County Emergency Management and monitoring conditions to protect passengers and employees.
How to Arrange a Shelter Ride
Call 850-769-0557 and select Option 2. A customer service representative will collect your information and coordinate transportation.
The shelter is located at Deane Bozeman School, 13410 Highway 77, Panama City, FL 32409.
Bring essential personal items, medications and supplies needed during your shelter stay. If traveling with pets or needing transportation accommodations, discuss those needs with the representative when arranging your ride.
Walton County Connector Suspended Friday
Bayway’s Panama City Beach–Walton County Connector service will temporarily suspend operations beginning Friday, October 9, at 6 a.m. because of the approaching hurricane and mandatory evacuation orders in Walton County.
The connector will resume when weather and roadway conditions allow safe travel.
