Green Light for Safety: New Traffic Signal Activated in Bay County

Traffic Signal to be Activated on U.S. 231 at Lindsey Crossing in Bay County

Chipley, Fla. – The traffic signal recently constructed at the intersection of U.S. 231 and Lindsey Crossing in Bay County will be fully activated Thursday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. The traffic signal has been temporarily operating in “flash mode” to give drivers time to get accustomed to its presence.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
