Disaster Unemployment Assistance  – The disaster unemployment assistance program provides assistance to businesses and residents whose employment or self-employment was lost or interrupted as a result of hurricane michael.

Disaster Dislocated Worker Program – Dislocated worker grants are awarded for temporary employment to workers affected by major dislocations, including natural disasters.

Disaster Recovery Centers

A Disaster Recovery Center or DRC is a readily accessible facility or mobile office where survivors may go for information about our programs or other disaster assistance programs, and to ask questions related to your case. Representatives from FDEM, FEMA, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), volunteer groups and other agencies are at the centers to answer questions about disaster assistance and low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters and businesses. They can also help survivors apply for federal disaster assistance. A map of DRCs is available here.
