The City of Lynn Haven announced a Local State of Emergency on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in preparation for potential impacts from Tropical Storm Isaias.
According to the city’s announcement, the declaration follows emergency declarations by the State of Florida and Bay County. At the time of the announcement, Bay County, including Lynn Haven, was under a Hurricane Watch, meaning hurricane conditions were possible within 48 hours.
Sandbag distribution — Thursday, October 8
- Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Location: Lynn Haven Sports Complex
- Limit: Ten sandbags per household
- Requirement: Bring identification showing a local Lynn Haven address.
