Free Food Distribution in Wewahitchka

One Generation Away Partners with Gulf County for Food Distribution

Gulf County, FL — One Generation Away will partner with Gulf County United CDC and Second Harvest of Big Bend to hold a food distribution for individuals and families in need on Saturday, February 24.

This is a free, no-questions-asked event. Anyone in need of food for the week can come and receive fresh and packaged goods with no registration necessary.

This drive-thru distribution event will take place from 9-10:30 a.m. at Westside Baptist located at 842 West River Rd, Wewahitchka. Those coming to receive are encouraged to come early, as it will be first come, first served.

Volunteers needed! These events are great volunteer opportunities for the whole family. Volunteers will help sort food and load groceries into cars. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:00a CST to begin serving.

One Generation Away holds one food distribution in Panama City every even-numbered month throughout the year. More Florida locations are planned for 2024. For more information about upcoming distributions, visit www.OneGenAway.com/mobile-pantry.
