Bay County to Honor First Responders

Panama City, Fla. – The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is excited to honor First Responders at their 13th annual First Responders Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, October 27th at 11:00 a.m. at FSU Panama City. The keynote speaker is CFO Jimmy Patronis who also serves as the Florida State Fire Marshal.

The First Responders Appreciation Luncheon gives the business community an opportunity to say “thank you” and honor EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers, Lifeguards and Dispatchers.

During the event, First Responder of the Year will be announced and will receive a special award for their service. A tribute video sponsored by Williams Communications will be shown, thanking First Responders for their commitment and sacrifice. A commemorative challenge coin will be placed at each seat at the event and every First Responder in Bay County will receive the coin, to thank them for their service. Thank you to Gulf Coast State College and HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital for sponsoring those coins.
