Echoes of the Opry Joins The Mix

The Mix

There is a brand new show on WKGC! You can listen to Echoes of the Opry every Wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm. The show is hosted by Rusty, who grew up with bluegrass and classic country music. The show focuses on songs and artists that you may recognize from the classics like Johnny Cash, but with a mixture of a new generation of musicians who have put their own spin on these wonderful classics. 

We got to talk about the style of music, specific artists that will be played on-air, and the talented artist that do not normally get radio play. Rusty will be uploading each show to Mix Cloud soon and says that listeners can send emails to echoesoftheopry@gmail.com.
