NWS Tallahassee and the NOAA Office of Coast Survey are pleased to offer two educational marine workshops during National Safe Boating Week on Monday, May 18th. Our goal is to bring together the boating community from the Forgotten and Emerald Coasts to provide education on safe navigation and hazardous weather. By sharing this information, we hope to ensure a safer experience for everyone on the water.
These workshops are free and will be held at the following locations and times on May 18th:
- Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve (Multipurpose Room) from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM ET (in partnership with Florida DEP).
- Gulf Coast State College – Panama City Campus (Charles Hilton Center) from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM CT (in partnership with Unmanned Vehicle Systems and WKGC).
