PANAMA CITY, FL — Florida State University’s head baseball coach Link Jarrett will be the keynote speaker for FSU Panama City’s 23rd annual Emeritus Alumni Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

FSU PC was established in 1982—41 years ago. However, the Emeritus Alumni Luncheon recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of Panama City-area alumni who graduated at least 50 years ago from Florida State University or the Florida State College for Women.

The luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Holley Academic Center’s St. Joe Community Lecture Hall, 4750 Collegiate Drive, Panama City. News media are invited to cover the private event.

Coach Jarrett played college baseball at Florida State University from 1991 to 1994 for coach Mike Martin. A four-year starter at shortstop, he played in three College World Series. The Colorado Rockies drafted him, and he played five years in the MLB before turning to coaching. He was the head coach at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2013 to 2019 and University of Notre Dame from 2020 to 2022, before coming to FSU.
