Little Things Men Do That Make Women Happy

Women were asked what little things their partners do that give “an extra bit of happiness in the relationship.” Here are some of their responses:

  • He brings me a snack before he goes to play video games and asks me if I need anything else.
  • My husband listens when I talk and then surprises me with the things I mentioned.
  • I like when he remembers my general preferences, like the way I take my tea or coffee or the kind of snacks or food I might like if he’s grabbing something on the way home.
  • Hand holding. I love it when he reaches for my hand.

These are just a few examples of the many little things that men can do to make their partners happy. It’s not always about the big gestures or expensive gifts. Sometimes, the simplest things, like remembering her preferences or taking a few minutes to listen to her, can make the biggest difference.

If you’re looking for a way to make your partner happy, here are a few ideas:

  • Pay attention to the little things. What are her favorite snacks? How does she like her coffee? What kind of things does she like to do for fun? Remember these things and try to surprise her with them from time to time.
  • Be a good listener. When she talks to you, really listen. Put away your phone and make eye contact. Let her know that you’re interested in what she has to say.
  • Do little things to make her life easier. Offer to help her with chores or errands. Bring her home a coffee from her favorite shop. Give her a massage at the end of a long day.
  • Tell her how much you love and appreciate her. Don’t forget to say “I love you” every day. And let her know how much you appreciate all the things she does for you.

It’s the little things that count. By taking the time to do small things to make your partner happy, you can show her how much you care and strengthen your relationship.
