Education Encore Begins September 24th at Gulf Coast State College

The Mix

Pat Sabiston, one of the Education Encore instructors, joined The Mix to talk about Education Encore coming up on September 24th. There are a variety of classes, including Pat’s own class titled “7 Ways to Capture Your Life Story to Pass On.” Pat is the owner of a communications consulting company and has had her work appear in the Panama City Living Magazine, The News-Herald, and an essay published by Beauty From Ashes Press. Pat is currently 

Pat talks about how people can join her class to learn about leaving a legacy for their own story and how you can publish your writing. Pat says she has had students self-publish, and others who go the traditional way with magazines and periodicals. 

Education Encore can be taken for personal enrichment, or for professional development. It will start September 24th through October 29th and will run for 6 consecutive Fridays starting at 9 am until 3:45 pm. Education Encore is offered by Continuing Education at Gulf Coast State College and provides non-credit enrichment education classes on a variety of topics for active and senior adults. The learning environment is fun and stress-free while offering diversity, insight, and wisdom.
