Upcoming Events

Jason Hedden, the Division Chair of Visual and Performing Arts, joined Caleb Jordan and Dana Erskine on The Mix. Jason talked about upcoming events this Spring Semester, and an upcoming performance titled “Red Speedo”. Some of the dates for events this semester are still being worked through but Jason brought up two things that you can look forward to for the Spring 2021 semester. 

Registration Open for Spring 2021

Registration is still open for current and future Gulf Coast State College students. One thing that is emphasized is that you don’t have to be a degree seeking student in order to take classes. If you want to take classes for personal benefit, that is an option. Registration will end at the end of the day on January 12th, 2021. Fees will be due upon registration.

Upcoming Performances

Jason teased a performance going on in the middle of February,as well. Red Speedo will be playing for 2 consecutive weekends, with performances on Friday and Saturday going from 7:30 pm to 9pm and Sunday from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. The show will be site-specific and take place at the Gulf Coast State College Pool, in the Wellness Center.  These performances will be from February 12th, 13th,  14th and the 19th, 20th, and 21st.
