Disaster Recovery Center in Port St. Joe to Remain Open

Tallahassee, Florida – The State/FEMA disaster recovery center in Gulf County, which was scheduled to close Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 will now remain open until further notice.

Disaster survivors may visit the center for face-to-face assistance with their application, to clarify any issues, have their questions or concerns addressed and to be referred to partner agencies as needed.

The center, which opened Jan. 31, is located in the Port St. Joe Fire Department, 404 Williams Ave., Port St. Joe, FL 32456. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Applicants who may not be able to visit the center can find most of the same services by going online at DisasterAssistance.gov or calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 or 800-462-7585 (TTY) anytime from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. Multilingual operators are available.
