Panama City Debris Pick-Up UPDATE

As of this Monday, Nov. 19th, 2018, Panama City debris contractor has picked up 1,046,596 cubic yards of debris from within the city limits of Panama City! Panama City anticipates there are 3 Million cubic yards of debris left to be collected.

Crowder Gulf provided the map below for Panama City officials to share with you. Over the next two weeks, the trucks will be focusing on pickups in the red shaded areas, which include Millville, the Cove, area between St. Andrews and Downtown and areas along Jenks and Harrison Avenues between Baldwin Road and 23rd Street.

Crowder Gulf anticipates it will complete the first pass through of the City before Christmas so if you haven’t received any pick-up on your street yet, you should in the next few weeks. Panama City Officials ask that you please continue to place and sort your debris in the right-of-way because our contractor will do at least a second and third pass through.

Panama City Officials have received some questions about why the trucks pick up debris how they do. Every load is unique. Vegetative and C & D (Construction and Demolition) are picked up separately. In some cases, the haulers are looking for heavier items to place at the bottom. In others, there is only a little bit of space remaining in the truck so they’re looking for smaller items.
