Sometimes the notion just strikes me ....", so says
WKGC's Manager Frank Sundram. Over the years, he has delivered
commentaries on politicians, pundits, prophets, the foibles of life, as
well as a host of other topics. "I see the inanity of certain acts,
movements or cultural phenomenon, and like a loose filling, I just can't
leave it alone". So saying, he took dead aim at the movie, Titanic, (which
really hurt it's popularity), which he sank during a commentary on the
Emerald Coast Arts Magazine, questioned the existance of UFO's on RapLine
as well as the validity of Psychic Phone Networks on the Emerald Coast
Radio Journal, as well as other addressing other controversial topics.

"I began writing newspaper columns in college, and just
can't resist the chance to weigh in on some issues", he says. "I began
early on by kicking Richard Nixon before he was down. In fact, I called
for his impeachment when I learned that he'd been putting ketchup on his
cottage cheese!". Despite his penchant to tilt at rhetorical windmills,
Sundram voices frustration at the recent behavior and actions of
politicians. " You can't write stuff this good. Their behavior, if satire
or fiction, would win a writer serious awards. However, reality seems to
have taken the measure of both fiction and satire. Who do I sue?" |
