8th ANNUAL BARKIN' ON THE BAY: Noon to 5 p.m. at Bay Point Marina in Panama City Beach, organized by the Humane Society of Bay County.

Tickets are a suggested donation of $5-$10; kids get in free. This will be a fun-filled day for dogs and the whole family with pet festivities including: dock diving and Frisbee competitions, dog demos (flyball, agility, obedience and rally obedi-ence), meet the breeds program, pet Halloween costume contest, and dog competitions (best pet trick, amateur obedience, and Simon Sez obedience).
There will also be an adopt-a-thon involving multiple area rescue organizations, pet microchipping, pet grooming and nail-clipping, live bands, raffles, plenty of food and drinks, and more fun.
