Alabama author Bonnie Bartel Latino will talk about “Your Gift to Me,” a military love story she co-authored
with writing partner Bob Vale at Panama City Beach Public Library- Nov. 13

The book recently won a 2012 Gold Medal Award from the Military Writers Society of America in Dayton, Ohio.

This is Bonnie's first book even though she has been a writer for many years. She is a former columnist for Stars and Stripes in Europe and also has reviewed books for the Mobile Press Register since 2004.

Based on reader reviews for quality, the inspirational military love story has been Amazon's #1 Top Rated War Fiction and #1 Contemporary Romance for months. It is currently Amazon's #6 Top Rated in Genre Fiction and #13 All Fiction, as well as #39 in all eBooks on Kindle--over 1.5 million eBooks, including non-fiction.

Your listening audience would not only be interested in the amazing success of this book by Latino and Vale, but also because of its strong connections to the Air Force. The last two chapters conclude at Hurlburt Field. In fact, a former Air Force Special Operations Commander has strongly endorsed the book for its accuracy. This may be verified at: bit.ly/NFE98v

The book has received 5-star reviews from military personnel and civilians. Men and women enjoy this fast-paced inspirational military romance which has over 100 reviews on Amazon. http://amzn.to/QYb6Bl

The Tampa Tribune called the book, "Smart, sensitive, and accurate about military wives and military lives." The review may be read at: http://bit.ly/PxvG9Z

One final human interest slant. Bonnie met her co-author online in 1996 in a professional military forum. They have never met in person. He lives on the east coast with his wife of 34 years; Bonnie lives in Atmore with her husband, retired Air Force Colonel Tom Latino.
