Carolyn Strickland, Commentator  
Carolyn Strickland lived in Brilliant, Alabama until her family moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama when she was eight years old. She received her BS and MA degrees in English at the University of Alabama. She has been an English and literature teacher at GCCC for 32 years.
Ms. Strickland is the mother of one son.
